Helmet Making Tutorial

Well, since nowhere there was a Helmet Tutorial(or is there one?:p) So I decided to start my own tutorial of helmets.

What you need
---------------------
Adobe Photoshop 9.0
BigGui
Fshed
Fshed Graphic Importer plugin

OK, we begin with the tutorial!:)
I'll be making a Zimbabwe Helmet.

Step No.1
Go to Google or whatever search engine you use and type "Zimbabwe Cricket Logo"

Example:

Step No.2
Right Click on any of the Zimbabwe Logo of your choice and click "Save Picture As". Save it where ever you want.

Step No.3
Now, we begin starting BigGui, open Data.GOB with BigGui which is located in your root, data. Now, we have to find the FSH file named "0307ffbee2270391809a7af45f474624.fsh"

Step No.4
When you've found 0307ffbee2270391809a7af45f474624.fsh, we click the export button and export where ever you want.

Example:

Step No.5
Now we start with Fshed, open it and open 0307ffbee2270391809a7af45f474624.fsh . After opening 0307ffbee2270391809a7af45f474624.fsh, you will see a template. Go to "Object" and click Export. A new dialog box will appear. Now, when that dialog box appears, you press the two dots button, and save it whichever name you want but make sure you type .bmp at the ending!

Step No.6
Now we open Adobe Photoshop 9.0 . We use Photoshop to edit the Helmet. Open the Zimbabwe Helmet Template with Photoshop, and also open the logo you chose and saved back in Step No.1 .

Step No.7
We now begin editing the helmet. First, use the Polygonal Lasso or the Magnetic Lasso tool to cut the logo.

Example:

Step No.8
Now we press Cntrl + C, then select the helmet picture back and press Cntrl + V. The cutted logo will appear. Right click the cutted logo and select "Free Transform". OK, now. We select either one of those tiny boxes to make the logo larger or smaller. Make it just covering the logo. Not huge, not medium sized. Just a very, very tiny bigger than the original logo on the helmet.

Example:

Step No.9
Save the helmet as PSD format(photoshop format) because if you just save it as BMP or JPEG, Fshed will say "Stream Read Error". OK, we open Fshed again, open 0307ffbee2270391809a7af45f474624.fsh again. When you've opened it, you go to "Tools", and obviously you have to click the only button there. A new dialog box will appear.

Step No.10
Click "Open" and find your edited Zimbabwe Helmet, and when you've found it, select it and press "Update" after that. Press Cntrl + S and nowthis is what it'll look like ingame:

YOUR DONE!:D:clap:happy:)
